Le Week- End du Rire 

D’jal

After two sold-out shows, over 200 performances, and thousands of spectators, D’jal returns with a new spectacle featuring even crazier characters and wilder situations. This event promises a delightful mix of humor and love, providing a perfect opportunity for entertainment and fun.

Elie Semoun

Following a triumphant tour, Elie Semoun returns for the final performances of “Elie Semoun et ses Monstres,” his seventh solo show. The new spectacle features a mix of humor and depth, tackling diverse and original themes such as introducing Wagner and the duck dance to the audience, dancing the waltz with his mother’s urn, witnessing a hostage situation, waking up from a 30-year coma, and attempting to win back his wife after fifteen years of infidelity.

Monthly Open House at HoDA

Event Description: HoDA opens its doors to the public every first Sunday of the month. The event features the exhibition “All Islands Are Trees,” exploring human and nature connections through 12 immersive and interactive artworks. Visitors can enjoy the exhibition with family, friends, or solo.

Special Activities:

  • Immersive Room Control: Send your tree-themed drawings by May 2nd for a chance to have them projected.
  • Tizan dan HoDA: From 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, discover the tales of Tizan and the legends of the Mascarene Islands, live in the immersive room. Free with an exhibition entry ticket.

Follow the intertwined stories of Cathy and Jamie through mesmerizing songs and poignant storytelling. Experience their relationship’s highs and lows as they navigate five years of life together, with Cathy’s story unfolding in reverse and Jamie’s progressing chronologically from their first meeting. Directed by Ashish Beesoondial, starring Diane Hardy and Yann Erasmus, accompanied by a talented ensemble including Dean Nookadu (piano), Anne Chauveau Dhayan (cello), and Kersley Pytambar (double bass), this production promises a heartfelt exploration of love, resilience, and the human spirit through Jason Robert Brown’s breathtaking score.
