1. Valentine’s Day Market-
Mont Choisy Le Mall in Grand Baie, North has organized a special Valentine day themed market on 11th Feb (10:00-17:00) and 12th Feb (10:00-15:00). If you are confused about what to gift your loved one then you must visit this market which is available for two days with plenty of gift idea options. 2. Board Games Night at Flying Dodo-
On 11th Feb from 18:00 to 23:00, Board Gamers Mauritius organizes a super fun board game night at Flying Dodo Brewing Company, Bagatelle. If you enjoy playing board games then you must not miss this opportunity. Free entry as usual with a lot of game options on the menu and if you want you can bring your own games too. There will be cool animators to explain all the game rules. Drink and Food are available on the site.
3. Kathak Odyssey: A Time Travel
Discover the story of Kathak dance, the famous and age-old classical dance style from Northern India, in this captivating show comprising live music, dance, and narration. “A time travel” tells the story of this Northen Indian dance style through the ages. Nayika, a female kathak dancer, explores the art form during three different stages of its evolution, namely the Temple period, the Mughal period, and the Modern period. The event will take place on 11th Feb, from 19:00 at Caudan Arts Centre. You can buy your tickets for Rs500 here.
4. Blood Donation-
Blood is the most precious gift that anyone can give to another person – the gift of life. On 11th Feb there will be a blood donation event at Coeur de Ville Tamarin, from 09:300 – 17:00, at Coeur de Ville Grand Bay, from 10:00-17:00, and at Coeur de Ville Flacq, from 10:00-17:00. This event is in collaboration with Blood Donors’ Association in Mauritius.
5. Open Air Cinema-
On 11th Feb, Ciné sous les Étoiles organizes an open-air cinema at Ebène Recreational Park from 19:00. Indulge in a unique cinema experience at Ciné Sous Les Étoiles & witness the real Cinema Game Changer in Mauritius! The movie of choice this week- is Top Gun: Maverick. 6. Adoption Day-
Calling out all the fur baby lovers, Help Us Save A Life is organizing their monthly Adoption Day, on 11th Feb from 10:00 -16:00 at Coeur de Ville Tamarin. The goal of this event is to assist animal rescuers and animal lovers in finding homes for our adorable furry friends, who deserve to be loved and cared for just like us humans. Join this event to help boost the chance of finding a home for the fur animals.
7. BE MY VALENTINE-
Lakaz Cascavelle has organized a special Valentine Day themed party for all the love birds of this island on 11th Feb from 19:00. People who are single are also welcome to join this fun and romantic party, and who knows might meet their future Valentine here. Some of the best local DJs like Jackie Freaky, Avi S, Ash, David Jay, and Vee will be performing on this romantic-themed night.
