Flow Tamtam at Tamarin Public Beach

Mama Difé invites you to the year-end Flow Tamtam on Sunday, December 10, 2023, starting at 16:00 at Tamarin Bay Beach. Experience the energy of a Tamtam, a high-spirited gathering with ravanne drums and dancing, infused with the unique touch of flow arts – both fire and non-fire.

Aims of the Event:
– Foster community gatherings and celebrations.
– Support and nurture the local flow arts and fire community.
– Create a casual, free-for-all space for individuals to share and enjoy flow arts.

 What to Expect:
– Jamming together with props and musical instruments.
– Sharing and showcasing flow arts skills.
– A comfortable, non-judgmental space to express and flow.
– Appreciation for each other’s flow and unique styles.

Bring Your Own (BYO):
– Beach essentials: mats, towels, swimsuits, sunscreen, food, drinks, fire pit, wood, musical instruments, etc.
– Flow props: poi, fans, palm candles, hoops, staves, juggling balls, clubs, Levi wands, etc.
– For fire dancing: Bring your own petrol/dipping stations, candles, fire props, Bluetooth speakers, and setup items.

Ethics:
– Respect other people’s props and seek permission before touching them.
– Understand the sacred nature of some props; respect decisions not to share.
– Return any stranded props picked up on the beach.
– Keep the beach clean and clean up after yourselves.
– Bring positive vibes and energies.

The gathering typically concludes around 21:00, but participants are free to leave whenever they wish. Join Mama Difé for an evening of flow, connection, and celebration.
