Take note that the trek starts on a private domain that focuses on ecotourism and therefore they are charging a small fee:
– Rs 400 for non-residents

- Difficulty level: Moderate
- Time required: 4h (13 km)
- Total ascent 530m
- Highlights : great to spot endemic birds and plants, and out of the beaten track. Facing the bay of Mahebourg and at the foot of the Lion Mountain, it’s home to one of the last endemic forests of the island.
