Let’s discover together the trail from Chamarel to Piton du Canot in the Black River Gorges. It’s a short trek, of 2.6km out and back. It will take only 1h30 to 2h30. There’s an almost constant view of the sea and a beautiful view of the majestic Le Morne on the top.
Meeting Point: In front of Le Chamarel (Restaurant)
Entrance Fee: There is a fee to pay at the entrance if we go through the Chamarel/Ebony forest entrance – Rs 360. Make sure to have some money with you.
Gears: Hiking shoes, water bottles, insect repellants, and raincoats
