Mauritius is a paradise for food lovers, and it\u2019s getting easier and easier to eat well here without any animal products. My husband and I are vegetarian, not yet vegan, but we\u2019re still foodies at heart, and we\u2019ve been curious to see what the island\u2019s plant-based scene has to offer. This list is my attempt at a guide. I haven\u2019t tried every place yet, so these are the restaurants and caf\u00e9s that are on our to-do list, chosen for their ratings and reviews and for how seriously they take their vegan options. Some are fully vegan, others are vegan-friendly places with a clearly marked plant-based menu, and all of them are well rated. And if you\u2019re fully vegan, I warmly recommend following Just Kris<\/a>, who regularly shares the best vegan finds on the island. Here\u2019s where we\u2019re heading next, from the north coast to the south.<\/strong><\/p>
