If you’ve lived in Mauritius for a while or if you grew up here, it’s easy to feel a bit of “island fever” setting in. We often stick to the same coastal loops, visit the same local haunts, and assume that because the island is small, we’ve seen it all. But there are so many incredible eco-friendly hidden spots that most people drive right past. In this article, we’re exploring 10 fantastic spots across the South roads from Curepipe to Savinia Beach that you can visit individually or combine for a relaxed or adventurous day out.
